Electro-acoustic Composition / Voice Sculptures, 26' (2019)

bestimmung wien is an electro-acoustic composition, presented 20 years after the publication of Gal's first series of voice sculptures, bestimmung new york (Durian, 1999).
Based on voice recordings with Viennese teenagers speaking in their mother tongues, including the following languages:
Arabic (Egyptian, Syrian, Tunisian dialects), Bosnian, Farsi, French, Portuguese, Russian, Svedish, Turkish, Vlach.
